Illustrating the Difference in Median Income Among California Counties (Excel)
In this project I worked with a small team in order to find a previous study to base our hypothesis on, clean datasets and regress them in Excel, then we made a PowerPoint and presented our finding to the class.
Incomes vary drastically in California, in our study we try to find the explanatory variables that show us why the different California Counties earn different amounts. More specifically, we will attempt to answer the following question: “What determines the median income in each California county during the year 2016?”
The median house price and the crime rate per 100,000 in a county were the biggest determinates of the median income in a California parish.
